Brite-Euram Project 3302 - Decision Support Systems for Production Island Based CIM for SMEs

Objectives	To provide a decision support system for production island based computer integrated manufacturing in small and medium size enterprises. The system is defined as a group of people and computer-based decision support and information tools. It is focused on both improving decision making in, and fostering collaboration between, business, design, planning and manufacturing activities.   The objective is to process sales enquiries and customer orders and to provide customers with accurate and realistic information, thus improving the the company's customer responsiveness and business performance in a dynamic market environment.
