Agile Manufacturing: Forging New Frontiers Paul T. Kidd 1994, ISBN 0-201-63163-6 6.1 Introduction In Chapter 1 we referred to an Agile Manufacturing infrastructure proposed in the report 21st Century Manufacturing Enterprise Strategy (Iacocca Institute 1991). In this Chapter we return to this infrastructure, and we will develop an approach for designing Agile Manufacturing Enterprises. This approach is based on systems concepts.
