| The FAMILIES project investigates
the interactions between eWork and family life. It has looked
at different forms of eWorking and four different family types
across four EU countries and produced over 100 case summaries.
These case summaries provide the first snapshots of work and
family life in the context of the eWork era. FAMILIES has also
produced reports concerning the research framework used, the
results of the family survey, and a set of recommendations for
policy makers, employers, trade unions and citizen/family organisations,
and for the RTD community. These reports and the case summaries
are available on www.families-project.com. A book entitled "Work
and Family in the eWork Era" which draws together the lessons
learnt throughout the course of this 20-month project will be
available in December 2002. Further information and updates are
available from the FAMILIES project web site. |
