Following on from the success
of the eBusiness and eWork conference held in Venice, October
17-19, a virtual conference has been launched at http://www.cheshirehenbury.com/ebew.
The Venice conference was the
second in a series, with the first conference being held in Madrid
in 2000. The new eBusiness and eWork virtual conference builds
on the success of the two non-virtual events.
The eBusiness and eWork virtual
conference is designed to provide an information dissemination
platform for projects funded by the IST Programme, Key Action
II, New Methods of Work and Electronic Commerce. These projects
can publish their results at the conference as well as generating
discussion about these results. Selected papers from other contributors
will also be published.
A number of papers have already
been published covering topics such as knowledge management,
eLearning, web based stock control, and Internet enabled co-operation
in production networks. More papers will be added to the conference
during the course of 2002.
The eBusiness and eWork events
are the conferences for RTD projects in Key Action II of the
IST Programme, who are also the primary sponsors of the eBusiness
and eWork conference series.
