IST 2002 - "Partnerships for the Future"

4-6 November, 2002, Copenhagen, Denmark

The IST 2002 event was held in Copenhagen on 4-6 November. IST 2002 was the event launching the new IST priority in Europe's 6th Framework Programme of research. The event provided an open platform to debate the strategic research priorities for technologies addressing the information and communications sector, and how IST could complement other research initiatives. The general theme was 'Partnerships for the Future'. The aim was to help Europe's researchers and industrialists build networks for collaborative IS research. The event helped people to determine how best they could participate in IST.
